Umbrellas are raw brass that I have shined up with a jeweler's polishing cloth. They will darken a little more naturally over time with wear and can be quickly polished back to its original shine at any time with any jewelry polishing cloth marked safe for brass (be sure to polish umbrellas, not the hook, as it is not raw brass).

As with any plated/costume jewelry, please avoid contact with liquids, gels, oils, etc. Please do not wear while sleeping, swimming, bathing, rough play with kids/pets, etc. Clean by polishing with a soft dry cloth after each use. To keep your Constant Baubling jewelry looking its best, avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, hairsprays, etc. and store in a dry cool environment. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in premature tarnish, discoloration or damage. See above regarding care of raw brass.
