How Do I Care for This Item?
A care card will be included with every order. Your jewelry is handmade, delicate and requires special care.
I love to create affordable costume jewelry; please understand costume jewelry is only as good as the care it's given. This is not heirloom jewelry and I do not offer warranties on it. I have much confidence that if you follow these care tips, you will be very happy with your jewelry.
Please do not wear while sleeping, swimming, bathing, exercising, rough play with kids/pets, etc. Clean by polishing with a soft dry cloth after every use. To keep your jewelry looking its best, avoid contact with any moisture, perfumes, lotions, hairsprays, etc. and store in a dry cool environment. I have much confidence that if the above are adhered to carefully and without exception, that you will be happy with your piece. Failure to follow these care tips will result in discoloration, wear/loss of the plating on your piece, or bending/breaking/damaging of your piece. I cannot be responsible for damage, discoloration or wear to a piece once a piece has been used/handled/worn.
Custom or Personalized Item Info:
CUSTOM or PERSONALIZED items are NOT returnable, refundable, nor eligible for exchange. This includes, but is not limited to, item requests such as: shorten chain, lengthen chain, different metal type or finish, ANY item that is personalized and/or hand stamped with a letter(s) or number(s) you chose, etc.
What if My Purchase is a Gift?
Good News! I don't include receipts / pricing in my packages unless requested. Your jewelry will arrive in a cute little bag or logo box with a business / care card, perfect for gifting.
Can I Return or Exchange?
Since many of us are guilty of "impulse buys" and not carefully reading the descriptions and sizes/measurements of things we order online, I may accept returns, however, returns and exchanges are not guaranteed to be approved,and will be decided on a case-by-case basis. Please contact me.
For return / exchange consideration, all items must be:
- pre-approved for return / exchange
- brand new
- unworn
- in exact original condition and with all original packaging
To request a return or exchange, you must contact me WITHIN 3 days of delivery. If return is approved, you must then have the package postmarked/shipped back within 7 days of your original delivered date, as listed by USPS.
All approved returns (not exchanges) will be subject to a $5 restocking fee. This goes to cover a portion of my shipping costs and re-entering the item into inventory. In addition, BUYER is responsible for return shipping postage. I will refund the item price minus restocking fee, upon its safe arrival back to me and and inspection of the item.
Incorrect or Outdated Shipping Address:
It is a buyer's responsibility to make sure they have entered the correct mailing address for their order here (AND for the payment address used to pay). I have no way of knowing that an address is old / incorrect / etc. Packages that are mis-sent due to an incorrect address given by buyer will be re-shipped at the buyer's expense only; and this can only occur once I have the mis-sent package back in my possession.
How Soon Will You Ship?:
I generally need 3 BUSINESS DAYS {this means weekdays, not weekends or holidays} to create and package your handmade order here at my studio. I always create my pieces in the order received. But- when I can get to them even faster, please rest assured that I do so. :)
General Shipping Info:
Prior to Shipping: Most of my items are *made to order*. This means the original product from the photos has sold, and I am personally making yours, just for you! Please allow up to THREE (3) BUSINESS DAYS for me to create your piece and get it in the mail, in the order in which it was received. Rest assured- if I can get it shipped any sooner, I will!
Tracking & Time Frames: Shipping transit times are an estimate and I do NOT guarantee those time frames, as they are NOT guaranteed by the USPS. Tracking is provided by me for most U.S. orders and is a useful tool, but should not solely be relied on as definitive whereabouts of your package, due to USPS error / lack of input / accuracy.
International Tracking: Tracking while your package is still in the U.S. is generally shown, but is limited or sometimes non-existent in your own country due to your postal system's choice of handling international packages.
Shipping Transit Time Frames:
Postal Service Priority Mail® products and First-Class® packages may temporarily require more time to be delivered due to limited transportation availability as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
As a reminder, shipping and tracking information and times are NOT guaranteed by the USPS, nor other countries' postal systems and will vary roughly as estimated below.
U.S (during non-holiday): 4-10 business days
Non-US North America: 10-30 business days
Europe: 10-30 business days
Australia, New Zealand and Oceania: 10-30 business days
Asia Pacific: 10-30 business days
Latin America and the Caribbean: 10-30 business days
North Africa and the Middle East: 10-30 business days
Sub-Saharan Africa: 10-30 business days
**Actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose and the efficiency of the postal systems involved.
Where's My Package?
Postal Service Priority Mail® products and First-Class® packages may temporarily require more time to be delivered due to limited transportation availability as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Please check your online receipt for your tracking number. You can use that number at www.USPS.com to see the whereabouts of your package. Please understand, it is not uncommon for there to be a lag in updates on the USPS website and unfortunately at times, updates are not even entered at all by the USPS. If you believe your package to be lost, please contact me and I will do my best to locate it and get it moving. It's also helpful to contact your nearest local post office with your tracking number. Packages on international soil are very difficult for me to locate and often your assistance will be required due to language barriers, etc.
If your package is no longer showing updated tracking info via USPS, cannot be located and is NOT marked as delivered after the following time frames, please contact me. These times below have been extended to account for extended shipping times as a result on the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you for understanding!
U.S.: 20 BUSINESS DAYS (4 weeks since tracking last shows an update)
NON-U.S.: 90 BUSINESS DAYS (12 weeks since tracking last shows an update)
